I certainly can't see who buys what, but I CAN see trends of what y'all like, based on what you buy after clicking links on Offbeat Bride. Sometimes, I like to gather up this data in my arms (LIKE A HUG! A BIG DATA-RICH HUG!) and share it with y'all — these are wedding invitations that lots of y'all have been loving over the last few months. Today's invitations are all from Minted.com, but I can also see that a TON of you ordered custom invitations from Vistaprint. (Totally makes sense: Vistaprint is cheap and awesome.) Anyway, less talking, more clicking and eye-boggling. Let's get inspired by each other's tastes — we've got mustaches, tractors, fireflies and 8-bit awesomness to gawk at! I've been seeing vintage airmail designs show up more and more, and while the handcrafted and custom options are awesome for our DIY queens, this simple and straight-forward air-mail stationery set could be an easy Thank-You card option — especially for destination weddings! A few months back, I did a post about slightly sinister plus-size honeymoon lingerie and y'all seemed to like it. I figured I'd do another quicky post featuring some more undergarment gorgeousness, this time focusing on bloomers, knickers, and other sexypants. Now, as the subject might suggest, this might not be a post to read at work. I mean, there's no bare boobs or anything, but there is some serious come-hither glancing going on. So, read the full post at your own peril. Since I've been doing my holiday shopping online, I've been stumbling upon some pretty great gifts ideas. Here's a wide-spread roundup of some creative groom's party gifts sure to please the guy AND girl best friends alike. Oh, I love Halloween week on Offbeat Bride. I love the over-the-top fashions, I love the costumed wedding guests, I love the spooky decor and the crazy candy displays and I LOVE the fact that we've been hoarding all this goodness all year, just waiting to share it all with you this week! Speaking of hoarding things all year, I thought I'd share some of Think Geek's fantastical Halloween stuff that would be AWESOME additions to your Halloween weddings. So, if you're planning a Halloween wedding for next year, you should jump on this stuff while it's available now… Redux Vintage has been supplying me with amazing fascinators for years (I even gave one of them to Ariel for her birthday). Then I saw one that was PERFECT for a bride. This got me thinking: what other alt-wedding headpieces can I find for the fearless bride? Ooh boy did I find some amazing options! I was doodling around over on HipsandCurves.com, and came across this look that so immediately screamed OFFBEAT HONEYMOON OUTFIT that I couldn't help but share. I realize this isn't the sort of thing we normally feature here, but come on: seriously!? |
