Alicia & Jonah’s nature-focused Native American wedding
Our ceremony was a traditional Ojibwa wedding, performed by an Ojibwa elder. Ojibwa is an eastern Canadian native American tribe which is Jonah’s ancestry. Our wedding was held outdoors from ceremony to pictures to dinner to reception. The reception was held at night under a patch of trees. We danced on a grass dance floor.

After everything, this couple totally knows how to skillfully dismount a horse, battle the elements, and rock a horse mask like nobody else. This Alice in Wonderland-inspired wedding is full of rich red, black, and white details in a gorgeous garden setting. We’re talking silver teapots, flowers planted in barrels, flowers in glass lights, and basically every rose-covered dream we’ve ever had. And don’t miss everyone dancing into the reception!
Cassandra & Dylan’s sweet and thrifty garden wedding
These two couldn’t avoid the tall jokes at the ceremony, but they definitely took their wedding planning seriously. With a strict budget and an even more strict guest list limit, they battled the inevitable hurdles that come along with them. But fear not, the result was a sunny, lovely, and on-budget backyard wedding with an awesome open mic!
An intimate rustic fall outdoor wedding
Handmade bunting, loads of fabric streamers, a first dance right after the tearful ceremony, and some out-of-this-planet scenery make this rustic and rainy wedding a sight to see. You’ll definitely want to see the little note the bride left for the groom before the ceremony, too. Oh, and we learned that when you don’t have an umbrella, a unicorn mask works in a pinch.
Lacey & Vinod’s vegan, peacock, 1920s wedding
We are loving this intimate waterfront ceremony that includes readings from the moms, a loving moment of silence for a lost brother, and a little floofy pooch ring bearer who served as reading inspiration. On top of that, this pair decided to go total Gatsby with a 1920s-themed reception! A placid lake meets a rockin’ party and we wouldn’t want it any other way. Just wait until you see the peacock tights and art deco cake!
