You may be thinking about giving out some yummy edible favors at your wedding. Maybe with a local flair (salt water taffy, deep dish pizza, local coffee)? But there are some food brands that just give everyone heart eyes emojis at first glance.

These cult food brands lend a bit of nostalgia, a little bit of gluttony, and will not go to waste or get left on the table (even if you want them to!).

Let's peek at some of my favorite cult food brands that make great edible wedding favors…

Girl Scout cookies

These little nuggets of cookie bliss are never an unwelcome sight at any party. Plus, who doesn't want to support such a kick-ass organization with their wedding dollars?

Krispy Kreme

Nobody is going to be mad when they spy a little box full of glazed donut goodness. Plus, Krispy Kreme makes it super easy to order them online. If you really want to fall into a K(rispy) hole, their Pinterest is obnoxiously delicious-looking.

Garrett's Popcorn

A personal fave since it's local to me in Chicago, Garrett's Popcorn delivers favor packages nationwide to bring some of that Chicago mix (now called “Garrett's Mix” — cheese and caramel together) or bacon cheese flavor into your guests' lives.

Jones Soda

Jones Soda not only tastes yummy for soda fans, but you can customize the label with your names and photos so it becomes a keeper bottle, too. They have 18+ flavors from which to choose, too, so you can totally match your color scheme if you have one.

Magnolia Bakery cupcakes

There's usually an amazing local bakery in most areas, so this one's easy. But wrapping up a to-go cuppy is never a bad idea for a favor. Though I imagine most would get eaten while dancing late into the night. Which is rad! Magnolia is a great one that you can find in multiple locations in NYC and in Chicago and LA.

Death Wish Coffee

If your guests have super strong coffee running in their veins, then some Death Wish Coffee favors could be just the caffeinated ticket. Divvy out individual portions of beans into cute favor bags and make their next morning hangover way better. Or if there's a more favored brand in your local area (Stumptown, Intelligentsia, etc.), go for that instead.

Pocky

Pocky, a Japanese snack brand of yummy chocolate-coated biscuit sticks, now come in tons of flavors like milk, mousse, green tea, honey, banana, cookies and cream, and coconut. They're pretty, taste good, and can easily be bundled into favor-sized packages.

Trader Joe's: Cookie Butter & Three Buck Chuck

Everyone digs cookie butter, right? Make friends if you haven't already. Millennial fave Trader Joe's has cookie butter everything: cookies, ice cream, cookie butter cups, and more. Make a goodie bag of cookie butter yumminess and watch everyone rave. Or hell, pair it with a super cheap bottle of their famous (for good or ill!) Two/three buck Chuck wine.

  1. I love it! We gave coffee for our wedding favor. Our wedding was rock n roll themed so we had coffee bags made that matched the wedding invitations and said “Jolene and Billy’s Rock n Roll Roast.” The best part was my car smelled like delicious coffee for a week after the wedding!
