She's also super-duper awesome. Not only does she take superb pics, but she has an amazing attitude about being a wedding photographer. Hiring Simone will probably be like hiring your super-talented friend to shoot take your wedding photos. Here's why, in her own sweet words… On Archive's photography style: I approach photography like a graphic designer, DIYer, music lover, aspiring cat lady, household Scrabble champion, and the list goes on. I shoot in a photojournalistic style about 99% of the time — I like to keep everything as natural and fun as possible and capture each individual's quirky self. I celebrate uniqueness in every way, right down to that inside joke he tells you that makes you snort. On getting her clients to loosen up I won't pose you like little dolls because I want to capture you exactly as you are. But if you have a tough time coming out of your shells, I won't hesitate to throw out a dirty joke! On Simone's relationships with her clients Wanna know if we'd be a perfect fit? You don't take life too seriously and love to laugh. You're crazy on the dance floor and are totally head over heels for each other. Photography is very important to you and not just another number in your budget. I'm also a graphic designer and DIY addict and I squeal if a couple says they're having a DIY wedding. I'm a long-time lurker and I have my wedding planned for October of next year with my bestie/fiance, Matt! We're still working out a lot of the details, and we have been absolutely inundated with friends who are photographers, but we've been inclined to go with a photographer who an also be a friend… and now, maybe – just maybe – we may have found her! Simone, keep a look out for us! <3! 1 agrees Reply These wedding photos are lovely. Like how Simone photos resemble a candid natural non posey approach. Reply Yay Connecticut love! Alas, my S.O. and I aren't planning on getting married for at least 4 or 5 more years. Reply We eloped and used Simone for a small reception in February. Let me tell you, the comments about her being one's best friend are spot on! Not only were our photos incredible, but Simone "gets it." Family drama, random guests who tried to push her to do formals and an atrocious hostess, we had them all. Simone was fabulous; and did me proud. Like the sister who always has your back, Simone keyed me in to everything, stuck to her guns, took every photo I needed, and deftly told everyone who stood in my way (with class and kick), "sorry no, not happening." She listened to my every word and catered to my every whim….all I can say is WOW. This woman gets it. Thank you so much Off Beat Bride for introducing me to Simone!!!!
