A golden sunset wedding in Malibu #Real Weddings: Western US#beach#couples of color#custom suit#first look#outdoor#pregnant bride#sand ceremony#short engagement#tent#wedding veils July 31 | Catherine Clark bijouxandbits Photos by: Luminaire Images Monique was a soon-to-be mama and, along with partner Deronn, planned this fabulous party in only three months! They chose The Sunset Restaurant in Malibu, which totally highlights the shoreline (where they decided to have the ceremony!) and naturally, the luminous sunset. Talk about the Golden Hour — more like the Golden Entire Evening! Luminaire Images was there to capture Monique's walk down the aisle to "Ribbon in the Sky" by Stevie Wonder, the eggplant purple accents, the overflowing treat table (including the bride's favorite cookie bars), and non-stop boogieing down at the reception. Seriously. Those shoes. I would design my entire wedding around them. 4 agree Reply Those Enzo heels were a last minutiae pick for the bride. I had to go the morning of the wedding to Nordstroms to pick them up. They were even more stunning in person. Such an awesome couple to work with. 1 agrees Reply That dress! So flowy and perfect. Congrats! 4 agree Reply This reminds me of the wedding we almost had! We're still using black calla lilies and having the same color scheme, but not having it in Malibu. This is gorgeous! Is there going to be a full post? I want to hear the details! I was going to write about which picture is my favorite, but I can't choose one…Monique's face is so beautiful and expressive and Deronn looks so happy and in love. Sigh. Adorable. 2 agree Reply Great beach photos! The last bit of light is just perfect! 3 agree Reply Beautiful wedding and gorgeous shoes! The whole wedding looked so fun and beautiful.
