This Doctor Who wedding began with the sound of a TARDIS #Wedding Porn#california#cookies#couples of color#doctor who July 14 | Chris Wolfgang mswolfgang Photos by: Altar Image Photography Photos by Altar Image Photography You know we love a good Doctor Who wedding on Offbeat Bride. So I was stoked to get the chance to check out Gracie and Daniel's subtle take on the Doctor's world for their Los Angeles wedding last June! Some details would be pretty hard to spot for those without a fan's eye. The sunflowers, for example, were a nod to an episode about Vincent Van Gogh. TARDIS blue was everywhere. And you'd have to be looking to spot Gracie's hand-painted Timey Wimey heels. Of course, nonfans probably would have noticed the cutouts of the TARDIS, the weeping angel, and the cyberman at the reception. And they had to have noticed when Gracie's father entered the ceremony stating that he didn't know where she was — only to be drowned out by the sound of the TARDIS landing. Safely back from her adventures with the Doctor, Gracie met Daniel at the end of the aisle right on schedule. Be sure to take a look at the reception's Whovian details! Guests munched on Dalek and TARDIS-shaped cookies, the cake featured a bride and groom escaping into the TARDIS from a pair of dinosaurs, and a photo booth included appropriate props like a fez, a sonic screwdriver, and 3D glasses. Bit of it 🙂 The blue of the slip clothes and napkins in that glorious sunshine look fabulous. And the sunflowers in the church and bouquet. The Dress. The Cake. Gah … I love 🙂 1 agrees Reply Those shoes are fantastic! Where did the bride get them? Reply A friend made them for her. Reply I love all the details in this wedding, especially the cherry blossom cake! Any idea where the bride got her robe? It's beautiful. Also it looks like the fabric is pretty thick unlike most that I've seen that have a really thin fabric. 1 agrees Reply I'll ask the bride and get back to you. 🙂 She got the robe on a trip to Japan. Reply Ah too bad for me 🙁 That does explain why it looks so much nicer than anything I've seen online! Thanks for checking! Reply Love the shoes and the favours and the table decorations. Reply This was one of the best weddings I have ever been too. I am honored to have baked hundreds of Dr. Who themed cookies for their guests. Reply How/Where did you find the TARDIS photo booth????
