This week's shoe post is going to drill down into the world of bright green shoes. Not emerald hues, but the bolder shades like grass green, chartreuse, and even almost-yellow spring green. Why? Because it's spring, and my toes need to remember. As always, click the pictures to learn more. Show/Hide comments [ 17 ] I actually squeaked when this post came up in my RSS feed. I squeaked! It's been surprisingly difficult to find accessories in bright springy green. Eee! I think I already have my shoes – apple green is my favorite color and I've collected a few pair in that color, but I am definitely excited by the skully pumps. More green! 1 agrees Reply That's my favorite color too! I was excited when I saw this post. Where did you find shoes? I have a year to find some, but I really want apple green shoes. 1 agrees Reply Awesome!! Green shoes need more love. Here are some of my favourite green shoes… 1 agrees Reply Yes!!!! If I ever get married again I've already decided I'm going to dye my shoes from my first wedding lime green. And I think I'm in love with the peeptoes in the 4th row, all the way to the right. Reply Woohoo, I'm going to be wearing green shoes for my wedding! I got mine from a ballroom dancing supplier, so that I could customize my heel height (not flats, not spikes). Reply Here are the shoes I got (I picked a slightly lower heel than shown, both for comfort and so that my same-height groom won't feel short): http://www.terrierplaynet.net/servlet/the-1393/Green-Dance-Shoes-D665/Detail Best part was they were only about $35…for customized shoes shipped from the UK! Whoo! Reply I own the green Iron Fist Zombie Stompers. They are HIGGHHHHH!! But very fabulous. They also come in a black/grey glow-in-the-dark version. They supposedly came in flats at some point but I haven't been able to find them. Reply If anyone really loves those Marc Jacobs mouse shoes, you can get the exact same shoe at Five Below (it's kind of like a Dollar store) for $5. I bought a pair last week and they are great! Reply I adore green shoes! I caved on wearing a white dress, so green shoes were a must. After one false start (turns out I can't manage 4-inch heels) I got these online somewhere: http://www.polyvore.com/nine_west_favorly_black_satin/thing?id=764341. They are the coolest bright green. Reply Hurrah, green shoes are IN! I bought mine from here: http://www.shopbop.com/lacie-piece-open-toe-pump/vp/v=1/845524441909316.htm?folderID=2534374302159474&fm=other-shopbysize&colorId=10072; they are super cute and contrast brilliantly with my pink dress. Reply Wife just got some chunky heeled oxford 1920's style in the same turquoise as the skull ones. I've been calling them her 'weddin' boots' she is unimpressed. Reply Do you know where she acquired these glorious shoes? They sound right up my alley. Reply Got these chartreuse cuties for under my weddingdress. http://www.hypebazaar.nl/collectie/damesschoenen/pumps/1881_appelgroen_zeus—trendy-noe-pumps.html Noë, http://www.noepumps.com/en/, makes them in a LOT of colors. Their shop is some kind of big rainbow shoetrip (yay!) Reply I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE green shoes!!! The only thing that could possibly rival the awesomeness that is gree shoes is bright safety orange shoes!!! I think I need about six pairs of shoes for the wedding day… definitely my fantastic pair of 4" lime green pumps is on the list… Maybe for wedding party pics. I also have a pair of vintage 40s purple suede dancing pumps. And of course I absolutely NEED orange shoes! 🙂 Reply I am fully gutted that I just saw this – I bought my green shoes half an hour ago! Though I do love them, it would have been nice to have a look at some inspiration! I've gone for some spotty green Irregular choice http://hitchedukcs.s3.amazonaws.com/CommunityServer.Components.ImageFileViewer/CommunityServer/Discussions/Components/Files/27/4428.shoes.jpg-550×0.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=1GGD02E4Z1ZJD3AK4F82&Expires=1335727324&Signature=rm3tYW1f4EIQ0HBxv1aEAtml4Tg%3d Reply I have the Zombie Heels. I've actually bought them twice because my adorable puppy chewed up one pair. =) I LOVE all IronFist Shoes.
