Is it rare to be encouraged to steal something? We happen to encourage you all to steal our Offbeat Bride ideas rather a lot.

In fact, one of our biggest archives is full of wedding ideas that we'd really like you to steal, pretty please.

But I couldn't get all of my favorites on this list (though I made sure to include my favorite tip for a post-ceremony activity).

What I'm saying is, you should go have a wander through that once you're done with these 30 of my very favorite offbeat wedding ideas ready for you to steal…

Comments on Our favorite wedding ideas to steal

  1. ooo – I love the bedazzled dragonfly tattoos. Almost makes me want to get a tattoo…

    • My sis-in-law did that with her tattoos (of which she has many). There are multi-colored stick-on ‘rhinestones’ that come in sheets for this purpose. They were easy to apply to dry, clean skin BUT for some reason half fell off within the first hour (the others stayed put through the whole reception).

      • I’m totally stealing the idea should i have managed to commit to my tattoo idea/desire before i get married.

I’d suggest spirit gum (or any other prosthetic make up glue) to make sure they stay in place for at least several hours if not all day.

  2. OMG the SO and I were just talking about who should say their vows first yesterday, and the rock-paper-scissor idea is right up our ally and a WAY better solution to this problem. THANK YOU!

  3. Build your bouquet on the way to the aisle ought to be stolen. This is such a cool idea…and pretty touching as well. you can start with your Dad giving the first flower and finally taking it from your in- laws! Tattoo glitters! Well how can you miss them??

  4. A great off beat wedding song is Primrose Hill by Ashton Lane. Written near the famous Abbey Road Studio and for every off beat heart in this crazy world.Enjoy!!!

  5. I think it depends on the inclination of both bride and groom. Let’s say both are intellectually inclined, maybe they could organize something like handing out puzzles along with the dessert 🙂
Or maybe get everyone playing Truth or Dare…

  6. Big fan of the “not-over-the-top” centerpieces. Centerpieces are not only pricy, sometimes they simply block the guests view from the action happening on the dance floor or sweetheart table.

In the end, you don’t want your centerpieces to steal the show.

  7. This post is really good. Marriage is important in everybody’s life. I really enjoyed going through this article. I hope people will enjoy the same way as I did.
