Wonderful wedding shoes for those of us with larger feet

This style is available up to size 13

Every time I do a shoe post catered to a specific foot-need, there are howls from the internet about how I've ignored THEIR special foot needs. This has happened so many times for so many years that the editors and I now have a joke about how long it will take for the first “validate my feet” comment to show up on some of my shoe posts.

Well, for those of you seeking validation for larger-sized feet, TODAY IS YOUR DAY! I'mma curate a collection of some of my favorite wedding heels, available in sizes 10-15. As always, I like 'em loud and proud. And as always, if you think I overlooked something awesome — share a link in the comments! (Or consider curating your own shoe guest post for us. Did you know you can do that?!)

  1. I have Sasquatch feet, but every time you post shoes that aren’t in my size, I flock to Barefoot Tess to find something similar in my size 🙂 Thanks for validating my feet nonetheless!

  2. Not looking for foot validation here, but I don’t know if there has been a post of shoes for narrow feet. Thanks for catering to all our special needs feet!

  3. when I was 12 years old a sales attendant at the Nordstroms shoe department suggested that I try a store that catered to cross dressers to find shoes in my size. I cried in the store because I was twelve and interpreted this as him saying I had giant man feet.

So yeah, foot validation is a thing.

Also hooray that stores now carry larger sizes at all.

    • Foot validation pain fist bump! Or something.

The cross dresser/drag queen shoes thing is a running joke in our household. I wish I had a thing for (or could walk in) towering red lacquer stilettos, all my shoe troubles would be solved. But alas.

    • Hah, this feels like a great support group. I relate to the cross-dresser identification, as I’ve ordered shoes many-a-times online (including my wedding shoes) from a site that I discover is designed for cross dressing, male fetish, etc. There’s a reason why the sellers are clear about how discreet the packages will be when they are shipped. 🙂

Oh well! I appreciate that particular market for the shoes it has put on my feet!

Side note: I find that I struggled a lot to find the shoe that I wanted with the heel size that I wanted. This is a great stash you found, though, Ariel!

  4. zomg this post just super warp speeded my friday to FRIIIIIIIIDAY!!!! 🙂 thx!! size 11/11.5 representin’ yo!!! <3

  5. I just took a chance on shoesofprey.com to order custom-sized shoe (lots of size + width options) because I have large feet and really wanted gold d’orsay flats but had trouble finding any that fit. I am sometimes a 10.5 but often an 11, and I ordered the size in between and LOVE the fit, it’s perfect. They have so many style options, it was much cheaper than I would have expected for ‘custom’ shoes, and they let you do returns if they don’t fit.
