While some folks go for unplugged weddings, others of us think it's AWESOME that our friends and family are taking photos, and sharing their fun moments online. You know what's not awesome? Missing those photos and tweets because you were busy as fuck in the days surrounding your wedding.

So follow Emily and Greg‘s lead, and print your suggested hashtag on the back of your place card.

  1. Great post! I also think the wedding hashtag should be short to make it easier on guests, and also so it doesn’t take up too many characters in character- limited services like Twitter.

  2. We put ours on our napkins that we ordered on black Friday! Same idea but I loved the idea.

We are having both an unplugged ceremony and a high-tech, plugged reception. It would be too much to ask people to be unplugged all night and it’s easy to distinguish the two spaces because we have separate rooms in the same venue!

  3. Hiiii
    Stressed to say the least.

I’m having a Wedding hashtag nightmare!

    My name Vianette Galarza.
    Husband to be Vinnie Almonte.
    Wedding destination Puerto Rico.

I want something funny/punny out of the box.
Since his last name is so common-I’ve seen these hashtags at weddings :
    FinallyAlmonte
    AlmontesDoItBetter
    Finalmonte
And these have been at his own cousins weddings! ?

    Short background –
    We are Star Wars fans.
He is Dominican and I am Puerto rican.
We been together 11 years and have 2 kids (Victoria 9 & Vinnie jr 5)
Yes we kept the V’s ?

Please please help me in finding the perfect hashtag for our wedding.
Thank you in advance ! ?
