A bookish Chinese-influenced wedding with a little Star Wars

pw-01-021213

Mike and Bernie had their ceremony at a gorgeous church in downtown Washington, D.C. followed by a huge party at Torpedo Factory Art Center in Old Town Alexandria. The Torpedo Factory was originally a factory used for making torpedos, but is now an art center, where Bernie had worked. Bernie infused her Chinese heritage into the decor, fashion, and entertainment (Chinese lion dancers!). The food was traditional Chinese with about 18 different options. But these two are also geeks of our own heart and had Star Wars and book-loving details on top of it all. Porter Watkins Photography shared all of the awesomeness with us.

  1. Awesome! Please can you tell us about your bridesmaids silk belts? I really want to wear one. Happy long life to the couple :)
