Cakes!
ShellBelle was a culinary student marrying into a culinary family, so she and her mother-in-law freaking made the cakes you see pictured above. Yes, that is an edible skull cake. Incredible, right? In fact, we have tons of incredible Halloween-themed wedding in our archives — they're all a little bit spooky, a whole lot of impressive, and hopefully as delicious as they are festive.

Jason and Freddy Kruger Wedding Cake
Meet the cake that inspired this Halloween wedding cake roundup — Jason and Freddy Kruger wedding cake! Wow. This just blew my mind.

Wedding Cake
AndiLani uploaded this cake to our Flickr pool and explained, “A Halloween Castle with Ani and Padme on top. By the way: that is the rarest figure produced of Padme… her in the wedding dress.” And I also spy a lightsaber cake cutter!

Hallowedding Troll Cupcake Cake
Here's a Halloween cake tower made by Ohio baker Confections by Amy for Katelyn and Jordan's Hallowedding. The troll toppers are from the bride's extensive troll collection! I'm in love with those little cupcake ghosties.

Remember Derek and Joey's neon Halloween wedding? Remember how awesome their owl-topped cake was?

Halloween cupcake tower
Here's another festive Halloween cupcake tower. Bride Amy explains, “Our cupcakes were decorated with pumpkins, leaves, and spiders. (Be careful, black frosting = black teeth.)” But I love the ghost cake toppers.

This is the STUNNING cake, made by Texas-based Fantasy Cakes, for Alanna and Nathan's Day of the Dead wedding.

Jessica & David's Wedding 90
I like Jessica and David's blood red wedding cake, coupled with the black webbed fabric beneath it, and the delicious candy and donuts surrounding it!

Our Wedding Cake
Remember the groom's cake with the bear that's eating his own eye from Denise and Jason's spooktacular wedding? Well this is the tiered wedding cake that went along with it. Denise described it as “a cake collaboration: I made the black tiers and provided the fondant skulls on the white tiers for the baker/designer (Missouri-based Cakes by Combs). It looked wonderful and tasted delicious!”

Wedding 006
Here's a Nightmare Before Christmas-themed wedding cake. I love the color scheme and the happy Jack and Sally skull toppers. Also check out the quick Halloween-ifying of the cake cutters — just tie orange and black ribbon around 'em and they look festive and photo ready.

Rachel & Pete's Halloween Zombie Wedding
Rachel and Pete had the ultimate Halloween wedding cake — a zombie head that they got to hack away at!

Our cake!
How fucking cool is this Halloween wedding cake topped with a looming creepy tree?

The cake
In fact, how fucking cool are ALL of these cakes!? Even if they're a gorgeous white tiered wedding cake topped with creepy Bride of Frankenstein cake toppers. Spooky Halloween wedding confections FTW!
