A rockabilly glam Aussie wedding with a little burlesque

Jacinta and Dylan

Jacinta and Dylan, two Aussies, got hitched in a Castlemaine bar decked out in their chosen lush decor. Jacinta wore a handmade rockabilly-influenced silvery mint green dress and Dylan wore paisley, a bow tie, and white suspenders.

The ceremony was conducted in the rear garden of the bar with lots of fairy lights. Jacinta quoted a line from one of Dylan's favourite movies, Pulp Fiction, during the vows: "That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence."

Other details include a typewriter as a guest book and a candy bar with temporary tattoos. They also had a live band… but burlesque performer Frankie Valentine was definitely the reception highlight. Liz from L12 Photography captured all the moments for our viewing pleasure.

  1. TOO LOVELY! and I must say as someone who generally finds kissing pictures a little cheesy, I think the first one in the line up is SO cute!
