Retro Star Wars Save the Date is blowing my mind

I've seen a lot of Star Wars wedding invitations and Save the Dates in my internet years. But, I had yet to see one with awesome vintage flare, such as these Star Wars Save the Date postcards from Tribesmaid Marty.

Yes, the front of these postcards is already bad ass, wait until you see the back…

OMG, where do I begin with the greatness of these? The Princess Leia bun detail, the R2 unit peeking out behind the DA in the word DATE. The lightsaber that acts as a separation between the date and the info. SQUEE doesn't even begin to describe.

Let's nerd out together: what are YOUR favorite parts of this retro Star Wars invite?

  1. This is one of the best save the dates I have ever seen! I love the use of "The Saga Begins", brilliant!

    • That's perfect! We were hoping for May the 4th but ended up with May 25–which is also a Star Wars day! (Date "A New Hope" came out.)
