Bouquets galore, record save-the-dates, and superhero drinks
You guys took to the Flickr Pool this week armed with photos of your bouquets and I'm LOVING it. So we're showing a few of those, plus some bonus socks, engagement rings, and save-the-dates. The lovely paper flower bouquet above from Andrea took "all of Firefly and a few replays of Grey's Anatomy." Well worth the effort!

Karen shows off her majorly colorful bouquet with tons of ribbons.

I'm having a dilemma with my paper flowers. What do I do about the empty spaces between the flowers? I have 7 large paper flowers arranged together…but because of their size there are gaps around the flowers that let you see in to the green "stems". Should I just leave it plain, add some kind of filler (if so, what?) or put something inside the bouquet to disquise the stems a little? Thoughts?

You can always make smaller flowers to fill in those gaps… or grab live fillers like baby's breath or fern fronds at Trader Joe's or Costco on the day of (or day before).

That's the tutorial I used! I experimented and found that I preferred a more uniform look, so I kept my spirals smooth instead of bumpy. Thank you all so much for the lovely comments!
