Wedding shoes from Irregular Choice

This style is called Royal Marriage
Personally, my experience with Irregular Choice has been mixed: I got these IC boots this winter and hated them (zero tread! weird rocking!). But Megan bought the same boots (bitch be biting mah style!) and loved them, so it's clearly just a matter of taste.
That in mind, who's ready for some kaleidescopic fever-dream wedding shoes? Strap on your proton packs — this one is galactic.
As always, click the thumbnails to see more. Oh, and these ordered from most expensive to cheapest, so if you're on a budget, head to the end!

I bought these for my wedding in November:

They just arrived this morning and are EVEN BETTER in real life. SO SO SO comfortable, too! And incredibly easy to walk in (coming from someone who NEVER wears heels).

OMG those are so awesome!!!

Eeee! Love, love, love Irregular Choice. I actually have the shoes that Bex wore for her wedding, and they are incredibly rad. I'm wearing Trinkletina for my wedding and I picked the shoes first off and am basing the entire color scheme and feel of the wedding off of them!

I was having such a hard time finding affordable GREEN shoes to wear at my wedding. I'm too picky when it comes to "dress shoes" because I never wear girly shoes. But, because my dress is tea-length, my shoe choice was important to me: I wanted something with heels (I hate how my legs look in flats with a dress…stumpy), but not TOO high because I'm a klutz. I also wanted the heels to not be spiky since my wedding is outdoors, but I didn't want them chunky. I also wanted something with an open toe because this is a summer wedding, BUT I wanted the heel to be enclosed because I have wrinkly granny feet (it's genetic). I was thinking shoes along the lines of something flappers would wear, pin-up shoes or whatever, just not super-high heels… As you can imagine, I was having no luck whatsoever…
THEN, I came across a ballroom dancing supply site. Perfect! All kinds of colors, enclosed heels with an ankle strap (did I mention I'm a klutz), peep toes, GREEN with sparkles, and I could choose which heel I wanted. The best part? They shoes were only about $35, plus shipping. Woohoo! The only downside is that the soles are suede (for dancing) which means that ehy'll probably get destroyed from being outside….but I only need them for one day.
Whoops, got sidetracked! But seeing these shoes made me think of my dilemma, and wondered if others were in the same spot. If anyone IS interested, the website where I bought my shoes is: http://www.terrierplaynet.net/…665/Detail

As a narrow footed, non-high heel wearing, girl who briefly was on a ballroom dancing team, I've always thought I'd get a pair of ballroom shoes is/when I got married. US dance shoe site usually have a 1.5 inch heel as well.
BUT… I do love these Irregular Choice shoes, and do want the two different "Abigals Party" ones.

I am wearing the Windsor shoes – they are there in blue and green above (with the rocking bow). Mine are maroon and it doesn't show in the pictures, but the heel is shiny gold, not matt, and really really cool!
Edit: Just realised that they are actually there in flowery as well!!!

I am a long-time fan of Irregular Choice shoes and own four pairs (but drool over many more). It must be said, a lot of them are not designed with day-long wear in mind, so consider that if you're thinking of them for wedding shoes – but hey, lots of brides bring a pair of flats for later in the day/evening anyway.
The very popular pair of IC for weddings seems to be this one:

They are gorgeous in person! And slightly less wacky whilst still quirky if you are looking for offbeat-lite.

The top middle ones with the peacock feathers are the ones I've bought for my wedding
they're my third pair of IC shoes- so high and so comfy!
We're lucky enough to have an IC shop in my city, and having tried loads on, they can be hit and miss. Some of them, the heel is just at the wrong angle to be of any sort of comfort. But others you can just wear all night long (this coming from a girl who rarely wears heels).

I have the ones on the top left. They are AMAZING.
I also have other IC shoes and though I don't wear heels very often (can't, really) they are really very comfy.
If anyone lives in or visits the UK, there are retail shops in Brighton and London.

OK, so these are not typically my aesthetic, but I have dubbed the red ones with the wings Hermes shoes and I need them. He's one of my Patrons and I've been wigging out trying to figure out how to get them involved with any wedding I may have. My SO is an atheist and doesn't particularly want a religious ceremony, but those shoes would be a perfect way to involve Hermes! AMAZING!
EDIT: I would, of course, have to remove the teeth or else Hermes might be a little bit annoyed with me…

I'm wearing some!
They seem comfortable enough when I wear them around the house to get used to them.
I used to wear shoes this high when I worked in an office – now that I work at home, I need to practice wearing them so I don't clump around!

These are fantastic. Would go great with a Steampunk/Victorian jacket. *dreams*

I LOVE Irregular Choice. I have about 4 pairs of their shoes currently, and it is hit or miss depending on the style. 8.5 is too small but size 9 can be a tad big especially with the ankle straps that wrap about the backside of the foot/ankle. They tend to fall off. That being said, I love love love ALL of their shoes, and may end up buying a pair for my wedding in June. I definitely want an OMG pop with my dress!

Love Irregular Choice! I bought the Abigails Party for my October wedding, but in the tan with black sequins. SOOOOO gorgeous. My dress is quite unique and has a bit of vintage flair and the shoes will be perfect with it. Plus they seem a little witchy to me so great for a wedding the Friday before Halloween. I intend to wear them with some super funky black lace/patterned tights.

Melinda, Irregular Choice is a brand of shoes — Offbeat Bride LOVES Converse, but they're definitely a different brand.
