These two eco-friendly, tea-loving cuties had a DIY-filled ceremony and reception in a church with a cupcake bar and a live music jam session. Family is really important to them and it totally shows in the details. Plus, Charis' groom's two left feet are adorable.

Wrapping up 2011 tasks isn't easy, but the Offbeat Flickr Pool seemed to cover all of the year's seasons with ease, ending with some snowy winter weddings. Check out what we've got in this Monday Montage. I am butch. I have short hair and don't wear bling, or dresses, or sexy underwear, and love button-downs, and am a martial artist… I occupy "masculine" on the public radar. I am very excited for the wedding. but at the end of the day I am damn excited to put on fancy clothes and say nice things to my gentleman and eat awesome food and have our parents meet each other and get my relationship validated by our families. So, why am I so determined to pretend I don't care? Some traditionally-minded guests and a last-minute dress swap didn't dissuade this couple from creating their dreamy gothic, offbeat lite wedding. The DIYed decor was black, white, and turquoise, with elements of magenta to match the bride's amazing hair! And you'll love their choreographed tango (with video)! Oh MAN, do I love a good hit off the forest fairy wedding fashion crack pipe. The sweet colors! The peaked edges! The whimsical touches. Come with me — let's inhale Morgan's outfit together, all as captured by Jesse Schafer Photography. Hey, remember when we told y'all about the Lovesick Expo in Philadelphia and then ya'll were like, "Boo, I wish this awesome alternative wedding expo was going to be in my city." Well get this: if your city happens to be New York, you're in luck! Next month Lovesick Expo is returning with a two-city tour in NY and Brooklyn. Everything is bigger there, so why not have bigger fun in Texas? A mechanical bull and the antics that accompany it fit the bill perfectly. A camera-mugging daughter and some first-time cowboy two-steppers round out this rainy, Texas-sized wedding. A musical and theatrical couple gives their guests some live performances at their second wedding in Alabama. (Their first was on the coast of Spain where the groom was touring!) An arts center was the perfect backdrop for their fall decor, silent film, and ooey gooey lovefest. |
