3 reasons offbeat couples LOVE Brooklyn's De Nueva Photography
You know a vendor is doing something right when over 60% of their clients are Offbeat Brides! Her vendor listing must be on FIRE because that's exactly how our Brooklyn, NY sponsor De Nueva Photography rolls. Nicki, of De Nueva, loves working with offbeat couples because she knows that y'all are laid-back, super creative, and generally just tons of fun, which then equals fabulous photos. Or, in her words, "I know it's awesome-ness in the making."
Obviously Nicki loves the wonderful Offbeat Brides, but what is it about Nicki that makes y'all fall in love with her? Here are three reasons why she's a kick-ass wedding vendor PLUS an offbeat discount…

1. Girlfriend has the right attitude
Nicki's words are so bad-ass, that I'm just going to quote the hell out of her:
My ultimate goal is to photograph weddings where the event is truly about the couple and their love, with all the quirks that could entail. If that involves rainbow colored dresses, light sabers, tattoos and flame dancers, then bring it on. If it involves something more white dress traditional, then that's okay too. I want to photograph people just being themselves and having fun, no matter what that looks like.

2. She's good people

De Nueva Photography is also featured in our Offbeat Vendors guide!
She's also LGBT-friendly, and uses all gender-neutral wording on her contracts.
And runs as green a business as possible — the main print lab she works with is a fully-certified Forestry Stewardship Council printer.
3. Pricing
Lastly, Nicki know that many of her beloved offbeat couples are not on a platinum budget, so she is one of the few (but awesome!) wedding photographers who post their freaking rates! And all wedding packages include a fully edited, high resolution disc of your images with a print release and a password protected online gallery.

Speaking of monies!…
OFFBEAT DISCOUNT: De Nueva Photography is offering $100 off of any wedding booking for Offbeat Bride readers who mention this ad!
Oh what, do you need a fourth reason? How about #4: She's down to travel! It's not just Brooklyn and New York City couples who can get in on the action — Twin City couples can take advantage of her special "midwestern girl hometown travel discount." Head over to her website and make awesomeness with De Nueva Photography!

So, I am the female half of "Alex and Eitan's traditional Jewish, Space Invader-themed, juggling, sword fighting and limbo-ing wedding" and we loved working with Nicki! I hate having my picture taken but both our engagement shoot and the wedding day worked out wonderfully. She was friendly and relaxed and like a wedding ninja, everywhere at once but never in the way. After one too many weddings that I missed due to being blinded by the videographer, this was very important to me. We have recommended Nicki to all our friends.

Thanks alex! I think I need to put Wedding Ninja on my business cards.

That's my husband and me in front of the big green door. We really enjoyed working with Nicki—and that's saying something, as neither of us likes having our picture taken. She made us feel so comfortable, and she really captured the mood of the day.
