I picked up this set of plain, white, plastic cake servers at IKEA for $5.99. I cut my cake with these bad jacksons and all was well. But almost everything is a blank canvas to a crafter, especially when it's priced affordably, so I've put together three customized serving sets fit for an offbeat celebration. These were all achieved in one evening using materials found at a major craft store.

We needed an outlet for all of the wacky and awesome accessories, makeup trends, hair styles, and adornments we keep running into, especially now that we're trolling around on Pinterest. These two had awesome goals: stress-free day, guests enjoying their "quirky little world," and be comfortable. They managed all of that while still creating a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cozy party with a bunch of touching moments and lots of blissed-out looks. It's happy-sappy and I looove it.
