A few months ago I waxed poetic about the amazingness of Blurb books on Offbeat Mama, and it dawned on me that sharing this knowledge on Bride could only do good things for everyone reading.

I recently made a wedding album from a set of photo booth shots, and figured that'd be the perfect thing to share with you guys.

Caroline is our illustrious copyeditor who keeps the editors in check with her grammar whip. She also has some cute photos of her grandparents' wedding from 1944 that were definitely worth showing. You've got to love a dame in a pillbox hat and her uniformed fella.

Got friends who can take great photos? Puppet masters who can craft amazing cake toppers? Furniture builders who are willing to build up some handmade furniture? Amazing illustrators for your programs? This couple somehow had all of these talents at their disposal and worked all of it into their streamlined, zen wedding. Low-key, no fuss — just a lovely event for simple weddings week.

A lot of these shoes are, ah, high concept. If you're looking for timeless romanticism, look elsewhere. These shoes most definitely do NOT fit with simple weddings week. Jeffrey Cambell's shoes defy gravity, defy the boundaries of good taste, and probably defy your more conservative family members who would get a peek at this sticking out from under your dress and be all OMG!

So remember the Offbeat Empire party that happened last month? Kelli from Shindig Events is the one who made it happen. Today, I'm here to tell you what she can make happen for you.

A little bit of vintage style, a whiskey box ceremony, a Princess Bride homage, and a lot of DIY make for an eclectic and heartfelt outdoor celebration. Plus they had an after party at a favorite bar for major dancing and carrying on. The matching <3 tattoos just seal the awesomeness.

The wedding parties took over the Offbeat Flickr Pool with their jumps, sunglasses, and major bad-assery in this week's Monday Montage. It may just make you want to join in and bust a move. Not that I did. Ahem.

Offbeat wedding planner, Laura Guerrie They ♥ OBB; we ♥ them , was contacted by "TV people" who claimed they were interested in her business for a reality show. Turns out, they weren’t actually interested in Laura, they were interested in putting together a circus sideshow “look at these freaks” spectacle.
