Every once and a while I like to drill down into one designer's offerings in these shoe posts — I mean sure, lots of times I cluster by color (yellow! red!), style (boots!), or special need (larger sizes! wide!) but today it's all about one designer: Chinese Laundry.
These options range from the understated and romantic (aww: floral wedge sandals!) to the aggressively offbeat (ZOW: cheetah-print booties!). I've got flats, sandals, heels, and booties. I will be purchasing the third pair in the top row. I have a pair of Chinese Laundry boots that I got in high school. They are 17 years old and starting to fall apart but I still wear them.

I have those sheer ruffly leopard booties in black and they are my 16 hour shoes. Legit!

I have a pair of CL black lace flats from DSW that are fantastic if you're into that sort of thing. They've so far served me well as my only pair of decently "dressy" shoes and manage to go with a whole range of attire and occasions. I'm more of a head-to-ankle fashionista, but when you absolutely, positively, must be perfectly styled, they hold their own.
