Especially alongside their Halloween-themed reception complete with a spooky candy buffet, gruesome poison cocktails, and photobooth hijinks. As an anthropologist, Shrubby observes patterns of behavior for a living. So, of course she couldn't help herself from using this finely-honed skill as she explores the wilds of wedding culture. Old Hollywood meets Stockholm in this short and sweet ceremony and big party. 11 years of dating, a lot of DIY, some Mario Kart anecdotes, a subway ride to the reception, and a few anxiety hurdles made this day really eclectic but pretty fantastic. Becca and Adam had a big question when it came to wedding music: "How do we play our favorite love(ish) songs… and not have our parents covering their ears, annoyed?" Their solution? A punk rock dinner playlist and a swingin' rockabilly/80s/oldies dancing playlist. There are other yarn flower tutorials out there, but my method requires the LEAST amount of materials, and once you're done there are SO many ways to use these poofballs as decor!
