Can we talk about these insanely adorable Barn Party! Wedding Invitations? First, the colors. We all know I'm a sucker for rainbows, and while this palette is a little bit washed out, it's still definitely rainbow-influenced. Second, the FONT. That font is workin' overtime to make these invitations feel timely and awesome. Third: PUT A BIRD ON IT!

i used a similar font for my save the dates- i was looking for something just like this invite but found Bittersweet NT, which is like 90% the same (the "E"'s are rounded). free download > http://www.dafont.com/bittersweet.font

I don't want to take a load of business away from Minted, but since these are 2.34 each…. did you all know that WeddingChicks have a practically identical invitation suite in their free downloads section??? I was going to use their design but turns out H2B has an irrational hatred of bunting!

I ordered samples of this invitation from Minted while they had a three-free-samples sale. I was really impressed with the quality of the entry-level paper; it's hefty! Plus, you can't see it in the above picture but you can get RAINBOW STRIPES printed on the back for an additional fee.
I am more interested in it because we're having flags and bunting all over our wedding than because it has birds on it. The rainbow stripes and modern font are what sold me on it. We're also having a smallish wedding, about 85 invites being sent out, without directions cards or STDs.
