Learn more about our ads. Are you still fretting over where you're going to have your honeymoon? It's cool, you can totally stop looking, we found your honeymoon spot: The Resort at Paws Up. You are welcome. What? You want to hear more about this particular sponor? Okay, how about… just look at that photo up there. It's magic. It's magic in a tent, with glasses of wine, a big 'ol bed and… *sigh* I want to go to there. So let's hop on a virtual plane ride to Missoula, Montana, take a 45 minute scenic drive and have ourselves a virtual tour of your future honeymoon spot. Oh look, now we are alone together inside the Creekside Camp tent. Let's never leave. The Montana wilderness is now our home and I'm okay with that. Imagine falling asleep to the sound of a running river, snuggling together under the stars… and also under the finest sheets on big comfy bed, with an en-suite bathroom with a vanity and two sinks and a large slate shower. Paws Up is also featured in our Offbeat Vendors guide! Yup, I said en-suite bathroom baby, I know you like that. Clearly this isn't your typical camping trip. It's like the how Ariel put it in the Offbeat Bride book; it's the "smidge above" (ie. take what you normally do, and just go a smidge above) version of camping — glamorous camping, aka "glamping." Are you an outdoorsy type that registered for new a tent and sleeping bags instead of china? Then dude, glamping at Paws Up is your smidge above. Forget messing with tents and lugging all your gear into camping sites, when you could be spending that time messing with each other instead! Paws Up is situated on a 37,000-acre working cattle ranch, so you can take advantage of all their outdoorsy activities: go horseback riding, fly fishing, river rafting, and all this stuff. Or, just take the time to relax and do nothing, enjoy a glass of wine around the camp fire with your brand new spouse and indulge in sumptuous spa treatments. Ooh, or look: hot air ballooning! So we're ending our lovely tour at the River camp, this is where we shall dine while watching the river flow and laugh at the jerks who aren't here with us. Paws Up also has the Creekside camp, Pinnacle camp and their newest campsite Moonlight camp, which is adults-only and perfect for honeymoons. They also have different types of honeymoon packages from which to chose, which means easy-peasy planning! So all you have to do now is book your honeymoon at Paws Up and don't forget to send us a postcard that says "Hey Jerks! Wish you were here, but not really, because that would be weird!" We are still looking to take our honeymoon, but after glancing through prices, it's a bit out of our league. Gorgeous place though! 2 agree Reply I love this!!! I would never go camping!! But glamping, that's a different story 1 agrees Reply "I want to go to there." = FTW Tina Fey reference & I don't even like camping & I want to do this! 1 agrees Reply Ok nerds, who else saw this and immediately thought "Quidditch World Cup!" 27 agree Reply OMG! TOTALLY! Reply Heh, me and my fiancée were on it: "OMG, CAMPING IN A FANCY TENT… do you realize what that means?!" "We could only do this if instead of calling it glamping we call it Wizard camping." 1 agrees Reply Now, *that's* what I call camping! 1 agrees Reply I'm there, as soon as I come into some serious money. Definitely a groom-approved honeymoon spot. 1 agrees Reply That first picture looks like my mums idea of camping. She's not yet pulled off an en suite bathroom but she does take tables, chairs, practically a complete bed, about 3 different things to cook with (including a cast iron cauldron) a bunch of rugs and who knows what else. All in all it fills a 7 seater people carrier (with only 2 people!). I tend to prefer going one extreme or the other, camping with only what I can carry, or the nicest hotel I can afford, but this place looks beautiful enough to make an exception! 1 agrees Reply I have seen this place before and it looks amazing. Amazing. But it's just a scoche out of my price range. Reply I love Missoula! My English husband's first trip to America was to my brother's wedding in Missoula. He fell in love with Montana, which I'd done years ago, and we're looking forward to our next trip back. Most beautiful place in the country, in my opinion. Reply That place looks awesome! But holy crap is it expensive. Looks like I'll have to stick to regular grungy no shower camping. 4 agree Reply I checked out this place a few years ago when I was looking into vacays that were off the beaten path. Gorgeous! Totally worth the money, especially for a romantic getaway! Montana is a great place to get away from it all. Wide open spaces. Beautiful sunsets. Rustic chic living. What more could you ask for? Reply Ahh, this is perfect! My guy proposed while we were hiking in the mountains by Missoula!! Reply If my husband-to-be had said to me, "Honey, pick out anywhere your little heart desires and that's where we'll go for our honeymoon," I would have chosen this place. I have an obsession with stone fireplaces and log cabins and I prefer cold vacations (with plenty of time for reading, snuggling and napping) to beach vacations (sunburns, sand in weird places, sweating). Alas, we will be journeying to South Carolina for our honeymoon – Charleston is pretty rad – but I wish I had known about Paws Up. I might have tried some guilt-inducing tactics to wind up in a tent with an en-suite bathroom! I guess there's always our one year anniversary! Reply Totally just booked my honeymoon 2 weeks ago :-s but I see big potential here for an aniversary trip! Although, I gotta say, I think this counts for a bit more than a "smidge" above, hehe Reply I want to go to there also, plzkthxbai. Reply Wow, this looks amazing. I hate camping, but I might make an exception for this! Reply I love this, looked into it further because my FH and I decided it was the place for us and just my luck they close up 3 days before my wedding for the rest of the winter. Awesome. Reply They have a place like this in North Carolina too. Sooooooooooooooo wish I could afford it! Reply where in nc? ooohhh i wanna live here!
