Tribe member and cartoonist Melaina put her skills to good use and created a great way to keep the kids entertained at her wedding. When I was looking for ways to add some cute DIY touches, I came across Oriental Trading's mini canvas flags and the proverbial lightbulb clicked on. I decided to decorate these bad boys with some iron on transfers. The theme for 2011's National Library Week is "Create your story." It don't know what says "Create your story" more than the two tuxes, book covered tables, and ceremony standing in the round in the fourth installment of Library Week weddings. Bay and Juan were married at Greenwood Cemetery and then they performed for their guests in Coney Island. But not before they got a surprise message from the family dog! "I have a very close relationship with my Grandmother, however, in all my years of being so close with her, I, uh, 'forgot' to mention that I am not Christian, but in fact Pagan." The last Library Week wedding features two lovely ladies (one of whom is a Library grad student!) you've seen before. Get ready to get a little teary when you read the poems from their ceremony.
