NY's Pennace Photography is somehow both affordable AND sexy #Sponsors: Photographers#disability#discount#diy dress#LGBT#new york March 11 | Megan Finley meganfinley This business paid a fee to be listed on @offbeatbride because they feel their products and services are a great fit with offbeat philosophies… and we agree. Learn more about our ads. New York brides, you're not going to believe your eyeballs. Our newest sponsor, Pennace Photography, is an honest-to-god affordable New York wedding photographer! Fer serious — we're talking all day wedding coverage for $2000! (I don't even think you park your car all day in NY for that price.) So, since they're new to the Offbeat fold, we thought we'd introduce you by showing you some highlights of previous offbeat weddings and then hooking you up with a discount… Photographer Laura Pennace was thrilled when her buddy Steve asked her to photograph his wedding. They had a blast running around the W Hotel in Times Square on their special day. And this photo just oozes sexy New York romance. Molly and Rex had a tiny wedding with some amazing details. They were married in the backyard of their Manhattan apartment, with a small ceremony, in the snow. Molly also made her own dress and wore boots that were to DIE FOR. Those are the kind of details that make Laura love her job… "I love non-traditional weddings — I'm a bit non-traditional myself (when I'm not a photographer, I'm an urban explorer and ghost hunter!) and I love the personality and spunk offbeat weddings have." The groom, Jason, has Multiple Sclerosis, so their wedding took place with both of them seated on a bench in the yard of St. Mark's Church In The Bowery. Alice's dress was also homemade and gorgeous. Plus fun motorized scooter pics are fun! Speaking of fun rides… Christie rode to her wedding ceremony on a horse! Oh yeah, and this wedding also took place in Delaware. So those of you in the tri-state area, New England and beyond can ALL take advantage of the discount… Offbeat Discount: Pennace Photography offers 10% off for all offbeat brides — forever! That's a savings of $200-$500 depending on the package. So get off your horses and tear yourselves away from your your sewing machines and go to Pennace Photography's website! Because, clearly, offbeat couples + Pennace Photography = perfection. Reporter Name * Reporter Email * Original text Enter the original text here. Edited text* Enter your suggested copyedit here. She will be our photographer for our June 5th wedding in Asbury Park, NJ. She recently shot an engagement session for us on the Staten Island Ferry and in downtown Manhattan. Some of the photos are here: http://pennacephotography.com/blog/2011/03/04/engagement-nette-brian/ It was a wonderful experience and we are really looking forward to working with her again. Laura is sensitive, really funny, sweet, and kind; it has been really easy working with her. She is also creative, spontaneous, adventurous, and flexible- perfect for an offbeat couple. The photos that I have seen so far came out wonderfully. We are really pleased with our decision to hire her. I would recommend Laura to anyone in the area. (She also does boudoir photography for anyone who is interested. It isn't something that I can afford right now. I am sure it would be a great experience to shoot boudoir photos with Laura. She made both me and my fiance feel totally comfortable while we were being photographed and her sense of humor would really help anyone who wants some sexy photos get good shots while not feeling creeped out or embarrassed.)
