Han Solo frozen in (carbon)icing!

December 10 | meganfinley

In honor of Star Wars Pride Day, I gift you this wedding cake…

Thanks to Elizabeth for sharing her most awesomest cake EVER with us.

There is really nothing more that needs to be said, except that you should know that I screamed and waved my arms around (Tusken Raider style) when I saw it.

And hopefully we'll be getting more details about Elizabeth and Randy's uber-geeky Star Wars-infused wedding ASAP. In the meantime, check out some of our other Star Wars weddings

  1. AWESOME!

Not only is it a fantastic concept, but it's a really good recreation too. Only downside is I'd feel bad eating it.

    Still want one though.

  6. Holy CRAP that's awesome, I've seen some Han in carbonite cakes around on the web before, but this one is fantastically well done. And having the quote on the side is a nice cute touch, love it! It would be REEALLY hard for me to cut into that work of beauty.

  7. Thank you all sooo much!! We were very excited to do this For Elizabeth:-) Being a Star Wars fan myself I knew the quotes on the side would be a perfect touch. This was the groom's cake and their wedding cake was equally as cool. Very fun couple. Very fun wedding…
Han was sculpted out of modeling chocolate, the cake was iced in butter cream and airbrushed silver then accents around the base were added in fondant.
Please become a fan on facebook @ facebook.com/cutthecake and you'll see picture updates of cakes coming out of the shop every week!
