Jenna & Ricky used their wedding to commit themselves to each other in their own goofy way. They started by playing funky music They had a good friend officiate their non-religious ceremony, which included a wine ceremony and a zombie reading. Also, Jenna wore pants and they both worse special wedding converse!

Marika has an really great point — if the WIC can convince someone to spend thousands of dollars for a one-time-use dress, why can't they also use their influential powers when it comes to legalizing same-sex marriage?

In case you're new around here, every Monday I browse the Offbeat Bride Flickr pool and share my favorite photos with y'all. This week's theme includes lots of pinks, purples and even a little bit of green. Gina & Frank showed their life long commitment to each other by getting ring tattoos during their ceremony! This fit in perfectly with their tattoo-filled, circus side-show themed wedding.

After their parent's met for the first time, Nikki & Chris realized that they wanted their wedding to have that same level of love and intimacy. So, they scrapped their mansion wedding in favor of a small backyard wedding complete with Nikki's mom's Jerk chicken. Wish I could have been there! Mmmmm …
