Pumpkin smashing Halloween wedding
This is Melissa and Tim and they had one hell of a Halloween last year in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY. It was shot by Jennifer Cody at Egomedia Photography and she tells us that it included spooky decor, Halloween costumes and smashing a freaking pumpkin as part of their ceremony!
Apparently costumes were required for everyone in attendance. (I like robo-guy, here.)
Melissa and Tim, along with their friends, put together all the decor. They also had a magician, acrobats, burlesque performers, a psychic, and…
But here's the best part… they not only were married by this really spooky-looking clown guy (an OBB first?) but then they got all punk-rock with this pumpkin and…
Thank you to Jennifer for sharing this amazing Halloween wedding with us. Click here if you like to see more photos.

Awesome. Was this an alternate interpretation of the smashing of the glass?
Tim said
Yes, it was inspired by the smashing of the glass. And it was also badass.

How did you incorporate this? This is awesome, and I'm curious how you did it, what was said, etc…We're getting married 10/13/12 & ours is all halloween…I'm very curious!

Thank you guys! Halloween is our favorite holiday and with all of our friends being puppeteers and artists, we couldn't resist. Egomedia are amazing photographers, can't recommend them enough.

I would love to know where the bride got that lovely peacock hair clip!

Omg the peacock feathers at the bottom of her dress. SO beautiful. It's nice to see another OBB who used Halloween/Horror elements and also peacock feathers- that's what my upcoming wedding is!
Winterbymorning, I would check Etsy- they have lots of those there, it's where I also got mine.
