Ahh, the classic, white sheet, ghost costume. It never gets old!

Stuart and Chloe decided to try re-imagining “Victorian Spirit” photography. In this photo, Chloe stares out the window longingly, for her love who was lost at sea/captured by pirates/etc. Meanwhile, in an attempt to comfort her, Stuart's spirit gently caresses her cheek.

I lurve a good costume party! So, I think it's only normal that I would love costume weddings EVEN more… especially when the guests are just as into it.

Halloween-goodie-table
Heather and Russel's had a Celtic/Halloween themed wedding. They gave their guests lots of spooky goodies. Russel's dad even got in on the theme and dressed up as a mad scientist.

Our cake!
Tom and Trina turned their wedding cake into a scary-looking pumpkin patch. It was decked out with tons of pumpkins, crows and scarecrows, bats, black cats and spider webs.

True love is threatening to smash a pumpkin on each other's head.

pumpkin
We shared Emma and Gary's wedding story this morning, but we didn't show you this AWESOME pumpkin, with their names carved in it. Although it looks totally real, it is actually a ceramic pumpkin that Emma's brother gave them to go along with their theme. How fitting!

Erin and Sam
Erin and Sam had a Masquerade Ball/Dia De Los Muertos/Halloween themed wedding reception. (Woo, that's a mouthful.) Their reception was filled with fun masks, hula hoops, tarot card readings, INCREDIBLE costumes and lots of Dia de los Muertos skulls…

Keep Calm and Eat Cupcakes
… They also had this rad Dia de los Muertos cake topper! Also, notice the sign in the background, “Keep Calm and Eat Cupcakes.” More about these guys coming later this week.

Skull
Sarah and Sean got married in their church, which happens to be attached to a mall. Naturally, after the wedding they headed over to the costume shop and had a silly photo shoot! You'll see more of these two in a couple days.

Comments on Happy Halloweeeeeen!

  1. Absolutely LOVE that photograph. Been wondering how to get into the “spirit” of marriage, and that one certainly inspired me!

  2. Keep Calm and Eat Cupcakes—> Great sign!
Also for once I have dress lust, the dress in the photo by Shea Roggio is a great dress. Very flowy and well fitting!

  3. How cool is that. A Halloween wedding! You take one of the most fun holidays and combine it with the happiest day of your life. So awesome!
