Vote for Brilliant Earth TODAY to show your support of ethically sourced jewelry
How does this matter or relate to us in the offbeat wedding world? This year the Today Show has chosen Brilliant Earth rings to be in the vote-off for their wedding bands. And Brilliant Earth is the only "green" jeweler among them. In fact, this is the first time in the eleven year history of their wedding series that they have selected an eco-friendly jeweler.
That means you have TODAY to use your voting power to show your support of ethically sourced jewelry. I just did it through their Facebook page and it literally took a second. It's super easy to band together to show 'em that gorgeous jewelry can be produced without causing harm to people or the environment!
TO VOTE: You have until Tuesday, 1pm EST, to vote on Facebook or text in your vote to 622639 (text 1 for Brilliant Earth). The jeweler with the most votes will be announced next Wednesday.
This is a tremendous opportunity for us to make a bold statement to the jewelry industry. By voting for Brilliant Earth, people can send a clear message that, as of 2010, the most beautiful wedding rings are those with ethical and eco-friendly origins.
