Y'all know we love theme weeks! This week, as per reader request we will be featuring offbeat elopements! To start the week we present to you Susan & Ryan. They scraped their elaborate wedding plans and instead opted for a beachside elopement in Oregon. -Coco Lots of brides don't submit their profiles until they have their professional photos, as as we all know — that can take months. So what to do when I see a photo I'm dying to feature, but don't have the full story on? ENTER THE MONDAY MONTAGE! I've been doing shoe posts a few times a month ever since, but had the idea at a certain point that huh: if people like ogling shoes that I stumble across online, maybe they might like ogling other things that I stumble across — like dresses. Or rings. Or other crap. And so an idea was born: Offbeat Store. Up next for elopement week is Lilana & Eric. Eric surprised Lilana with a treasure hunt that led to a Doctor Who themed elopement in Las Vegas. You may remember Lilana from her super swanky hot pink sneakers! -Coco We all know I'm a sucker for ribbon veils, but I'm LURVING Teresa's curls wrapped around rainbow ribbons. YAY! More fun wedding invitations to show of from Modern Girl Invitations! We've gushed about them before and I can't wait to show you five more of my favorite colorful invites ranging from their retro vintage looks to their modern wedding invitations. On day three of elopement week we have Jill & Andy. Although Jill & Andy are planning to get weddinged in August they wanted to get legally married as soon as possible. So they had a small ceremony behind the City Hall in Kingston, Ontario. This allowed them to have an intimate celebration that involved a few loved ones (including their dog!). -Coco |
