Anti-Photo is a Northern California husband and wife team based out of Sacramento (all though at least half of their weddings take place in the Bay Area, as well Mendocino and the Monterrey). The name may be a little shocking, but the sentiment behind it is right up our alley: Anti-Photo is not anti-photography, just anti-wedding industry.

Anti-Photo has been shooting weddings for ten years and they've realized that the offbeat weddings are really their favorites, now they're actively looking for independent brides who don't want cookie-cutter weddings. Like bride Katie.

Katie and her husband found, or borrowed almost everything for their wedding in Redding. Katie made the bouqet and headpiece. She made the yellow slip and the red shoes were a thrift store find in pic. All of the place settings at dinner were cool plates and glasses collected from thrift stores throughout the year prior to the wedding. Each one was different.

Eve and Martin met at Burning Man and encouraged everyone to "Dress to Express." There wasn't a single tie at this wedding. After the ceremony, all of their friends helped them to "tie the knot" by tying them up in rope. Eve wore her favorite corset and crazy white, knee-high leather boots.

Of course Anti-Photo understands that independent brides might have independent budgets, so they're not afraid to be flexible in that regard. And the best part is that they give all of their couples 10-12 hours of shooting on their wedding day and they all recieve a dvd of their photos, copyright free!
