Unicorn Princess Heels and other hot wedding shoes from Modcloth
Once I saw those, I started clicking around ModCloth's other shoes and gurgle. There went two hours of my life. They have a looooot of awesome shoes. So many that I decided this week I would take a break from my thematic approach and just drool over this one catalog.
If you're ready for this week's batch of wedding shoe inspirashons, grab your tea and let's dive in together, yes?
Oh and btw, ModCloth has a coupon offering thinger: you can save $15 on any order over $99 by using the coupon code "Affiliate15."
And oh dear ... ModCloth has dresses too! Danger, danger, danger...

I know those Unicorn Princess Heels are sold out, but if enough people click "notify me on restock," hopefully they'll be restocked soon! Must… have… them….

they tend to restock popular items pretty frequently… those heels have been restocked at least three times.

Yay! I got my wedding shoes at Modcloth (on the recommendation of an OBT member, natch) and I fell in love with the whole site. The shoes aren't available anymore, but they were perfect for my outdoorsy, vineyard wedding — wedges = no sinking into the grass, with leaves and flowers all over. And peep toes.
And they were $35.

I love love love Modcloth and have gotten some great stuff there, but a word of warning: I chose their "What Dreams May Come" dress for my bridesmaids and when my FH's sister got hers it was so short she said her butt cheeks peeped out. Might be fun in other situations, but not in a church.
Anyway, just be sure to read the reviews of each product and pay close attention to their measurement guides before ordering.

Agreed — their sizing definitely runs small, and from what I recall, the measurements listed are just from measuring across the garment, which can be a little bit more tricky from my experience in trying to gauge if something will or will not fit me. Their sizing seems to be more upper-juniors department and not women's, from my experience in buying dresses there. Adorable stuff, but buyer prepare!

Oh I love those blue and silver flats *drools*

Why, why, why do you do this to me? You know I wear size 11 which are NEVER available in cool unicorn-inspired shoes. *sniff*

Ok, I'm with you in wishing for the unicorn-inspired shoes, but I am amazed to say that I found my –hot pink suede, peep-toe, sling back , amazingly high and absolutely stunning — wedding shoes on Amazon. Did I mention the part where I wear a women's size 12W?
There is hope!

the unicorn princess heels are totally kickass! but be warned: i ordered them a few months ago to wear with my ivory wedding dress and they are a much darker tan color in person. they were still really cute, but they didn't look great with my dress, so i returned them. i kinda miss them though…

The same thing happened to me! I Thought they were going to be much lighter so… yeah, totally sucked. My wedding isn't until July so I'm wondering what I should do about them.. just wear them? I don't know. Gah!

I might be hyperventilating. a website that has pages and pages of beautiful dresses and they're reasonably priced. This just made my Friday even better!!!!!

They also have these on lulus.com! they are heels by jeffrey campbell!

*And I say they aren't necessarily women's sizing, and that comes from someone who has almost no boobs, and is built sort of like a twig. I still have some womanly hips though, and that's what's caused some problems, along with the fact that being 5'9" means I'm slightly too tall for most of the dresses!

I adore modcloth. Great stuff, reasonably priced, and unlike most online vendors the woman in charge has a real eye for quality.

The heels are great but the site only stocks shoes to a size 10. My size 12 feet are SOL.

Words cannot express my undying love for ModCloth. I have 2 dresses and 2 jackets from them and basically want everything they have! They had an amazing pair of sunny yellow heels that I wanted to get for my wedding, but now they're gone
Hopefully they'll come back soon.

I need the secret garden peep toes. Need is not too strong of a word for the situation. I am on the 'email me when they restock list' now, feeling helpless.

That is so funny that you posted the Unicorn Princess shoes… I was just looking at them a few days ago as an option for my wedding attire!

They have the Princess Unicorn in Black and Gold too! The pewter and Onyx Suede is nifty too. Trying to decide if I would squeeze into a 10.

I am in LOVE with a lot of these shoes but so many of them are not stocked
those navy wedges may have become my new obsession… must find them….

*drools* So… tempting…
Could I request a specialized Wedding Shoes post for unusual sizes? I wear a 6.5EEEE, one of my bridesmaids wears a 7.5AAA, and I think cscamma would appreciate seeing some 11s.
cscamma said
Yes she would! Much love to all my other girls out there with big feet. : )

Not to diss the Modcloth too much but… I found a beautiful dress on there, that I almost ordered. Until… I found it for 70 dollars less on another site. The identical dress was on ShopRuche.com for yes, let me repeat this: 70 fricking dollars less. That is quite a difference. I wrote an e-mail to Modcloth politely informing about the big price difference. And I got a reply that informed that Modcloth has a blog. Oh. Well really? Okay then, I will gladly pay seventy dollars more. I mean, what? Also, they mentioned that they do have some of the same stuff as Forever21.com, but people liked shopping at Modcloth for the community, etc. And I was informed that I was getting a response from a real person.( Side note: I got a response from the owner of ShopRuche when I asked about the sizing of the dress. Also, they also have a blog!) I was glad they informed me of another place to find some of there items for cheaper (Forever21.com), it wasn't the site that I had mentioned ! LOL So yes, there are some real cute things on there, but some of it you will find elsewhere for cheaper. And no, I am not affiliated with ShopRuche.com, in fact I returned the dress because it was unfortunately too small. I just wanted everyone to get the best deals. As I personally think that seventy dollars is way too much to pay for reading a blog and/or getting a personal response.

Actually, Modcloth gives its own names to items they sell. These shoes are really "Michelle" heels by Jeffrey Campbell. (in case anyone tries to find them anywhere else)
My undying love to Modcloth, though. Dangerous levels of cute stuff!
