Wedding photography for a good cause from Brian Tropiano

brian tropianoOkay, let's talk about photographer Brian Tropiano. He's an uber-talented wedding photographer in the Virginia, DC and Maryland areas, but brides everywhere are in luck because he's totally willing to travel. And not only is he a bad-ass wedding photographer, he's also a super cool dude!

When he's not taking amazing pictures of weddings, he's traveling abroad for the International Justice Mission as a photographer, documenting casework in the Philippines, Guatemala, Kenya and Cambodia on a regular basis. (You can see some of those incredible photos from his travels on his blog.)

And he gets even cooler — this year Brian is donating 5% of his profits from every wedding package booked in 2010 to two not-for-profit organizations — half to IJM, and half to an organization of the couple's choosing. See what I mean? A totally cool guy!

I mean, if you're gonna shell out money for a wedding photographer, why not shell it out to a photographer that's going to give some of that back to a cause you care about AND take amazing pictures at the same time?  So get in contact with Brian and use your wedding porn for good!

You know, here's a funny thing. Tropiano's name sounded so familiar to me, so I looked him up – turns out we went to middle and high school together. Funny that he should end up on one of my favorite wedding blogs! I didn't know he become a photographer, though – great talent and a great cause! Perfect combo!
