It looks so cool,

my partner and I are trying to organise a bush wedding in the Northern Territory (oz for those of you not in oz) and I am finding it very hard!!! I really want it to be eco freindly and local food (which there is not much of up here) I work for a kitchen garden foundation at primary school.. and honestly local is often tricky. There is so much bush, but a nice spot which won't be full of tourists is a tricky one.

As I said in the Profile, he was great to work with, and has recently contacted me regarding our missing pics, hopefully we'll be getting the remaining few images soon. To be fair, he's working a full-time job at the same time as shooting weddings, and the pics speak for themselves.

I, too, thought it was very considerate to acknowledge those with special needs in comestibles. And the organisation was obviously very good. However, I think the whole day was so enjoyable that the gods must have been smiling on the event. Obviously Clinton and Isa are very much in love and that shone through during the proceedings. There could have been disasters: it could have rained, hailed and thundered; the bus to the restaurant might have been late or not have turned up at all; the FOB or MOB could have carked it on the morning of the wedding. None of these happened so it was just meant to be. Oh, and the MC did a great job considering he'd just been operated on!

Actually, I am a Special Dietary Requirements person myself, so you can see why I said my freak-outs were really over dumb things! The actual hassle was more trying to co-ordinate a set menu that would accommodate everyone's needs. As it turns out the staff just took people's individual needs into account on the night and they ordered off the regular menu, which was absolutely super for everyone – if only they'd told me that's what they were going to do, i could have saved myself a fair bit of stress!

Can i echo JessicaF here, as someone with dietery requirements, I have been to weddings where I have been unable to eat because the meals would kill me because it was deemed too difficult to cater to my fairly common food allergy. So 10 points and a huge hurrah for handling the situation!

Oh, and I buy gifts from Biome all the time, love it, huge props for a Biome gift registry.

Since this was one of your freak-outs, I have to say that, as a person with special dietary requirements, it means so much that you went out of your way to feed my type at your wedding. I have been to several weddings where the couple took super efforts to ensure that every gluten-free, nut-allergic vegan was fed, and it is really touching. So, if you didn't get proper thanks, consider yourself heartily hugged and loudly "thank-you"ed!
