@Jordan – yes, I remember you now. I'm so glad your dress worked out amazing too!

@Claudia – I actually got the lanterns from an chain decor store in New Zealand called "Acquisitions". It's in all the shopping malls in Auckland. I'm not sure if they have online ordering too, or not. I let the girls keep the lanterns afterward instead of the usual jewellry as a bridesmaid present.

Yep, that line had the tears coming for me too.

And your wedding advice – "A wedding is two things and two things only â€” a ceremony to mark your choice to commit to each other, and a wicked awesome party. Concentrate on those two aspects and forget everything else." – is SO EXACTLY RIGHT! My offbeat fiance and I are currently doing the traditional-parent-organization-dance.

I went to this wedding, it was the most awesome epic wedding ever!
Everyone had fun, no one was wearing clothes they hated and the metal singalongs rocked my socks.

Oh and the reading was an edward monkton one about dinosaurs, how appropriate, and totally cute
