I'm also a brew goddess, but sadly all the families drink is crap beer. We got around this by making home made sparkling apple champagne starting with a ton of apple cider. It is aging quite happily in the back corner of our cellar.

I'm brewing for my wedding with my minister and my brother, looking at making about 5 gallons of mead and 7 gallons of dangerous cyser. I've never brewed beer and they have never brewed wine, fun to meet in the middle. We'll be starting it in about the next week for an Irish wedding in late July . I'm happy as could be that I get to brew with family and friends for my wedding, what a blessing to be able to incorporate all this together

Joel and I have a friend who brews and he and Joel have already made a Summer Ale for our wedding on May 1st. I don't think they've bottled yet, but it's in whatever phase comes between cooking and bottling. I'm super excited! I love the labels on this, so freakin cute, I may have to see if we can do something like that for ours. I think it would be fun.

That's very cool! Very nice label design and very seasonal brew! Wish I could try some of that, as I'm kind of on a pumpkin ale kick recently!

Bottles of homebrew remain the BEST wedding favor I have ever received at a wedding. (And it was nearly 10 years ago when I got them.) They were the groom's handiwork, and they were delicious.

Beats out a heart shaped cake knife or a cheese board anytime, since I actually used them!
