kaci3Ok, remember forever ago when I told you about Austin wedding photographer Whitney Lee's bridal portrait contest? Remember that?

Well, not only do I want to share the photos of the winner of that contest, but I want to let you know about ANOTHER offbeat contest that Whitney's sponsoring — this one's for a free Halloween engagement session.

So first, lets bask in the photos of Kaci, the bride-to-be who won Whitney's last Offbeat contest…

Kaci did her shoot with Leah Muse, Whitney's second-in-command.

Kaci said: "I'm intrigued by old timey things. So my dress and look is inspired by 1920s silent film stars. I also love whimsy, and so that's where the location (Austin's Cathedral of Junk) and wings come in… "

"Leah Muse of Whitney Lee Photography was fantastic to work with. She's super cute and spunky and we laughed together throughout the entire shoot. She was on board with all my ideas and we tried everything out, even if we didn't think it could work … but a lot did!"

"The finished product kinda blows me away. I look so different, which was the point, but still! In every day life I wear chunky plastic frames and go for more a nerdy/artsy aesthetic. I look glamorous in these photos! It's old timey a bit and whimsical … every lady should get some kick ass photos once in awhile!

Gorgeous!

Ok, so now you want to know how YOU can look all awesome and glamorous?

gorgeous, gorgeous photos of a lovely bride!
the juxtaposition of the pristine white dress against the Cathedral of Junk, the fae look against the refuse of the industrial age's mass production frenzy, the serenity of the bride-to-be, it's awesome!
plus I love the "no forced smiles" approach – truly lovely pics.

wait, what? the winner gets a photo shoot AND cupcakes?!?!
any chance Whitney Lee has ever thought of branching out to the Boston area?

Oh how I wish I lived in Texas to get cool photos done on my favorite holiday, Halloween!! Even though my second desination wedding in California next year. But the pictures are so nice and the bride looks beautiful in those photos. Love the 1020s look too !!
