Her dress is so cute! I'd love for my maid of honor to wear that in my wedding. Plus her necklace choice is lovely and the parasol is adorable! I'm really hoping it doesn't rain on myy wedding, because I want to use my parasol.

I totally agree about not looking at the mainstream wedding mags if you know they aren't your cup of tea. The first time I (ever) looked at one was a couple of days before the wedding (we got married in a different part of the state than where we lived, and I needed something to read on the way, so I figured, "What the hell?) and by that time I knew that what we'd planned together was awesome in its own right.
