Dancing down the aisle
As a rule, I avoid posting wedding memes that are making the rounds elsewhere (this video was on CNN and the couple appeared on Good Morning America and the Today Show, for goodness sake!), but I've received so many dozens of emails about this that I don't think I have any choice.
So I'll wave my little white editorial standards flag in surrender and just say, for those of you who may have missed this elsewhere, here's Jill & Kevin's wonderful dancing wedding entrance video:

Well, I don't read any other wedding blogs, so this is probably the only chance I'd have had to see this. I'm very glad you posted it.

Oh, this particular meme has gone WAY bigger than wedding blogs! It's on digg.com, Metafilter, and most other meme-tracking sites today.
IT'S HUGE!!
offbeat_megan said
Seriously, it's EVERYWHERE. Someone sent me a link where the video was posted on an online marketing and media blog — using the video as a metaphor for "doing the unexpected, surprising your customers by being 'different' and getting great results."

It made it to CNN!

AND Good Morning America. Seriously: these folks are like the Susan Boyle of the wedding world this week.

OMG it's on Hipster Runoff.

Yes!!! I just balled my eyes out ….the perfect soul mate dance song and everyone got to see the pure joy of 2 hearts through dancing…nothing more than perfect!!

Made me want to jump up and start dancing. What a great idea!

Love it! I would definitely do something like that. Weddings should be about expressing joy and festivity instead of being somber and serious all the time, and this couple and their friends and families certainly have that figured out.

Their wedding party was HUGE!

Made. Of. Awesome!!! I'm doing something similar, but it will be a wee bit smaller. Thank you, though, for posting it, 'cause this is also the only wedding blog that I read – and I doubt I would have come across it otherwise. It definitely made my night!

SUPER – AWESOMENESS!!! Ariel – you you're my main wedding news source (and I see I'm not alone)….thanks so much for waving the white flag – it was well worth it. I need to go dance now. =)

I love this, but I came back to OBB to find the African American dancing wedding party that was posted on here….last year? Black and pink were the colors? And everyone had their own song as they entered the room? Not to start a "wedding dance battle" up in here, but seeing the above video everywhere made me want to find this other one like right now.
I'll keep searching the site— love it so much!

Such a fun idea! But the bride in me is saying, "where did they get those bridesmaids dresses? I need to show this to my ladies!" (;

When the groom walked over to the bride and gave her his arm I thought "awww" , that was funny and sweet and you could tell they are all close.

anyone know what song that is that they are dancing to?

on the youtube video page the bride says "Our wedding entrance dance to Forever…yeah, forever." I'm assuming she's all "yeah, forever" because the song is by Chris Brown.

I especially love that big guy shaking his stuff- gotta love big fellas dancing.

Personally, I think that dude (who appears to be the best man?) choreographed the whole thing! He's clearly the most skilled dancer and also the most into it. Love him!

For all you people wondering what the song is it's Forever by chris brown. I loved this!! It's adorable and a wonderful and unique way to express your love!!
