I love that non-matching bridesmaids are becoming more popular in weddings these days … and this shot perfectly encapsulates it. Everyone's in green, everyone's lovely, and everyone's different. Photo by Toronto photographer Derek Wuenschirs.

I would love to do the unmatched bridesmaids if I thought I could come up with more than one. I think I'm probably going to end up with bridesmen instead.

Yay! I love it too. Gives me hope for my bridesmaids, who are picking out their own dresses. I saw a wedding on here before where the bridesmaids were wearing several different colors and it was amazing so that is what my girls are going to do. 3 in blue/green, one in yellow/orange and the moh in red (mine and her favorite color).

I love that weddings are so relaxed and anything goes. You can be yourself and still look beautiful and elegant and simple! Weddings are fun and the people in them should look like they are having fun…no one wants an unhappy bridesmaid!! My girls are wearing the same color but it is a cocktail like dress that is very fun and flirty! :)

When I asked my friend to be a bridesmaid, I said I didn't really mind what she wore, as long as she was the one standing up next to the girl in the big white dress. Before I could even finish the sentence she told me "I'll wear anything you want".

Orange tutu and scuba mask it is.

I love love love this. I'm hoping I can do the same thing with purple dresses. I love the relaxed vibe it gives weddings :)

i love this wedding!! we're planning on sailing away on a canoe at our wedding too. I love all the green, and the brides dress. i really wanted a veil similiar to that but i didn't think i could pull off such a beatiful relaxed wedding with it. Good job, it looks stunning!!

Awesome. My FH and I are having our bridesmaids wear different shades of green. I'm glad to see a photo – now I know it will look awesome.

My friend had non-matching green bridesmaid dresses last summer, and it worked beautifully. It was a devil of a time, however, finding a green dress last year, for some reason.

I'm doing non matching green bridesmaids too! And thinking about using sunflowers, although all our bouquets might just be Barbie dolls.
