We've been thinking of eloping instead of the big wedding we are planning….when I saw this post I knew it's what I had to do! Thanks for the great link – we booked Judie and are flying to NYC for our spur-of-the-moment elopement next week and so far she's been fabulous!

Thank you so so sooooo much for posting this! There's no way I would have ever found out about them if it hadn't been for your site (which I'm addicted to) and now I'm going to have the ultimate wedding of my dreams for a 10th of the price I was planning on paying!!! We were planning a wedding for 10-31-10 but then I realized, in two years my birthday will be 11-11-11. What better way to celebrate my birthday by getting married! Plus, we'd also like to have another baby in the meantime but I want to be married before I have another child. So we decided we'd like to elope somewhere and 'renew our vows' on 11-11-11. I've always said if I can go anywhere, I'd go back to NYC!

That's awesome! I'd wish they'd been around when I got married… even though I had a small wedding by NYC standards, it still cost buckets of money!

This makes me wish I lived in NYC. It would make things so much easier. The photography alone would be worth it.
