Seattle hot hair giveaway from VAIN

Advertisement Ariel March 27, 2009 68

hairpoisonbridal_11Attention Seattle ladies! I'm cosponsoring a hot hair give-away with my beloved hair salon, VAIN.

Yes, I'm a total whore for them: they've been doing my hair since 2001 when I cut off my dreadlocks with a pair of fingernail scissors and went limping in afterwards looking like an escapee from the Home For Mentally Deranged Pixies. They produce the best hair blog in Seattle. They invented my pink braids.

Anyway, enough about me. VAIN of course rocks the wedding hair, and if you're in Seattle, you definitely want to win this bridal package.

WIN THIS STUFF FROM VAIN & OFFBEAT BRIDE:

  1. Bridal updo at VAIN downtown ($75 value)
  2. Wedding waxing (brows, bikini, whatever you want) with VAIN's waxing queen Belinda in the private waxing studio above VAIN downtown ($75 value)
  3. Custom "Hair Poison" bridal headpiece by Sweet Revenge, aka VAIN stylist Kelly (pictured above!), who donates a portion of Sweet Revenge proceeds to the National Cervical Cancer Coalition — she's a survivor. ($100 value)
  4. Awesome "Altar your thinking" Offbeat Bride tshirt.

For rules, how to enter, and pictures of Hair Poison headpieces from my hot ladyfriends at VAIN, keep reading.

  • Pick me! Pick me! I love Vain!

  • Me please. My sister ( and I) would be relieved if the hair ninjas at Vain could do the job instead.

  • Ohhh, I miss Vain! I remember way back when, I got my first dreadlocks there. And they were dyed a lovely sunset of colors.

I'm going to grad school elsewhere but in an oh so short time (6 months) I'll be returning to Seattle with my lovely stud muffin to get hitched in my parents' back yard.

To have my hair done by Vain would be most wonderful!

I met my fiance Josh last year at The Magic Kingdom in Orlando Florida (where im from) Josh is from Seattle and was here on vacation. We were in line to ride the Haunted Mansion ride when we noticed each other, it was inside the stretching room where we officially met (while complementing each other's tattoo's, great ice breaker) This monday he asked me to marry him inside the haunted mansion right where we met!!
We plan on marrying in Seattle and moving back!
Sooo I just had to enter and share our story!!

Sounds like a great deal. I hope I win!

  • Oh my goodness, yes! I frequent Vain (in as much as I get my hair cut, which is rarely) – I saw you there when your book had come out, and there were cupcakes. :) And I've finally decided on having a fascinator of some sort, which is sadly the first real decision I've made. I'll cross my fingers!

How many times have I walked past Vain downtown and looked longingly in the window? Please count me in! We've got our day planned for August 29 in our friends' backyard. I keep growing my hair but have zero ideas on what to do with it. Ladies at Vain, I am yours!
