Questions?

A couple months ago, I added a FAQ page to offbeatbride.com. I realized I should ask — do any of you have any questions about Offbeat Bride that I haven't answered yet?

This website uses IntenseDebate comments, but they are not currently loaded because either your browser doesn't support JavaScript, or they didn't load fast enough.

I don't have any questions, only praise! We're so lucky to have found your site! We finally have other couples we can relate to as we will be having an "off-beat" Pin-Up wedding complete with a tattoo artist working for tips lol.
Thank you for all the ideas you've provided us.
xoxo

Hi, Ariel, I'm a fairly recent fan of yours and upon finding this website, I went and bought your book, heh.
The question I had was, some weeks ago, I tried to sign up at the tribe, but never got anything back about regarding acceptance or denial. Was there a glitch and should I try again?

If you don't hear back about your OBT application, it's because your application was declined.

Not knowing more about your particular situation, I can't tell you why your application was declined … but the majority of declined applications are due to either:

A) the applicant not being someone actively planning their wedding, ie a vendor, journalist, or friend

or

B) they gave overly brief answers to our profile questions. Giving complete, full sentence answers is really important. We've learned the hard way that 2-word answers tend to come from spammers. :/

You're always welcome to apply again.

Hi Ariel, I was wondering if you could explain why you are so awesome and how it came to be so. I understand that your reply will be a long time coming, it is probably hard to explain.

My only question: How the hell would I be able to do this wedding thing without yall and your awesomeness?

Hi there,

I have an upcoming wedding (yay for your site!) and it would be great to have some ideas for bridesmaid gifts – specifically a grown up one in my case!

Loving your fine work!
Nikki
