Posting lighter this week

I'm a little overwhelmed with all my projects this week, so Offbeat posting will be lighter than usual. To keep you entertained, here are some photos from my weekend, totally unrelated to weddings in any way:

At La Push's Second Beach

For Christmas, my husband gave me a getaway at La Push, on Washington's Olympic coast. We went this weekend, and it's absolutely one of my favorite places on the planet, to be sure … and I was thankful that despite figuring prominently in the Twilight series, the area hasn't been too sullied. You can see my photos here, and my husband's over here.

I hope you feel less overwhelmed soon! I hope the getaway helped! Wow La Push looks awesome in your pics! Much better than in the twilight movie… I admit I am a twilight book fan.

Thanks for sharing the photos, they are truly lovely! And the doggie!!! Guh! *dies of teh cute*

Twilight… Agh. It's one of those guilty pleasure reads, where you scream at the characters and want to throw stuff at the wall because it's so frustrating. Yet, you feel compelled to keep reading. *sigh*

I got the best shirt the other day from jinx.com though! "And then Buffy staked Edward. The End." *grins*

I will admit that I've fallen into the Twilight craze. I've heard that it's a nightmare trying to get anywhere near Forks now.

I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend getaway. It looks like a beautiful place and that is an awesome photo!

Yay!! I love and miss La Push. We used to go there every spring when I was a kid. The hole in the rock at Rialto beach is one of my favorite places ever.
