Veil poof
There's a lot to love about Kara & Drew's Colorado Hoe-Down wedding, but I've never seen anything like Kara's wonderful poof veil here.
It looks like a concept that would be relatively easy to make, and it just adds such a sense of drama to her clean and simple ensemble. Plus, it's a nod to a veil without being too, you know, veil-y.

The veil is indeed amazing… I'm kind of even more wowed by her beautiful hair style.
Love the untraditional messiness of it without being, well, messy!

I'm a long time reader of your blog, so imagine my surprise when this post popped up in my google reader! Thanks so much for featuring Kara's poof–the whole wedding was fantastic and it was an honor to photograph it!

Hey, wow! Yay! Everyone loves the poof as much as me! I'm actually posting about the why's and how's of the poof in two weeks, but it's also occured to me that it is make-able magic.
Yay Kara!

Is that a tattoo on her shoulder? And I wonder what Vera Wang would say about pairing cowboy boots with her wedding dress

I LOVE THAT!! You simply must do an entire post on this, or at least convince her to divulge how she got a wedding veil poof!! I love the veil poof almost as much as I love birdcage veils or fascinators.
