As a fellow pinkie myself, I am totally in love with OBT member Kim Dayman's bright pink wedding hair. And is it just me, or does her hair perfect match her anatomical heart tattoo?

You'll find lots more pink-haired wedding porn on Kim's OBT blog!

The offbeat bride: Laura, history detective

Her offbeat partner: Jim, army captain

Location & date of wedding: Gazebo in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lovingston, Virginia. July 26, 2008

What made our wedding offbeat: When Jim and I made the decision to get married this May, we knew we weren’t going to have the luxury of a long engagement; Jim had recently received orders for a 400-day mission overseas and we knew we would have to have everything done and in order before he had to report for training in mid-August.

offbeat bride posts will resume once I stop barfing. Whee!

OBT members George and Sebastian did it up right in Sydney this last weekend, getting married in the courtyard of the pub where Sebastian proposed.

The groom was in "the bastard child of a frock-coat" and as you can see, the bride was decked out in a flame-licked bright red dress she made herself, and adorable little cocktail hat.

Oh and of course they cut the cake with a machete. Hiiiyah!

I'll probably have more on this wedding later, but for now you can peruse George & Sebastian's flickrstream, and OBT members can check out George's blog post.

PS: This isn't the first flame-themed wedding dress on Offbeat Bride!

Things I love about Sarah & John's wedding: bride in glasses, a red dress, and striped socks — plus rings on My Little Ponies! (Thx, Rachel!)
