Some of you may remember this cross-gendered wedding party I featured in March. Well, the wedding was shot by Amanda Brooks in Los Angeles, and it's time you know a little bit more about her and saw more of her insanely stylish wedding photography.

Amanda specializes in retro and theme weddings, and brings a lot of journalist flair to her work.

See, she's spent the last two years as the backstage photographer with Burlesque scenesters Tease-O-Rama, and so clearly she understands on a core level how to beautiful capture curvy, gorgeous women who are going for that classic, mid-century style.

You've just got to see more of these photos…

She says: "I love retro and glamour photography. George Hurrell, Nan Goldin, David LaChapelle and Bunny Yeager are my photographic heros." Check out this shot from a Palm Springs wedding:

Amanda's experience as a fashion photographer also comes through her work.
I mean, helloooo gorgeous!

Amanda notes: "My alter-ego 'Aquanetta' can be channeled to do your bridal retro-glam photo make-over…" And yes, this is Amanda:

Don't go thinking it's all boobs and glamour: Amanda's also the mom of almost-6-year-old flying daughter, so she totally gets family-friendly photography as well.

But the most amazing thing about Amanda? Not only are her rates remarkably reasonable (especially by SoCal standards!), but she's offering a whopping 10% discount to all offbeat brides! So all you retro-fabulous, zaftig brides — get clicking. You need Amanda Brooks!
