Austin wedding photography from Whitney Lee Photography

July 11th, 2008 · Advertisement · 9 comments

Whitney Lee is a wedding photographer (and artist who does kitschy latch-hook rugs) in Austin, TX who is on the hunt for offbeat clients. She explains, “I love the non-traditional and the traditional-with-a-purpose. My favorite is to work with self-confident couples who view the wedding experience as an expression of themselves and their relationship.”

Whitney’s got a fabulous photo blog (I think this post is my favorite!) and is so committed to wooing offbeat couples that she’s offering a 10% discount to new clients who mention they found her on offbeatbride.com. Get in touch with Whitney Lee to make the magic happen!

I am so happy to see an Austin vendor on the site. We already booked a photog or I’d be on the phone with Whitney right now.

I wish I had known about Whitney Lee when my husband and I got married. We had a very unique, fun wedding and the photographer completely botched the job. The memories are great, and the marriage too (most important), but no real special photos for the event.

I love that picture! And everything on the blog is so beautiful and full of personality. The discount’s just icing on the cake. I was lucky enough to score a great wedding photog from within the family, but I’d be hitting up Whitney otherwise, for sure.

Also, Whitney’s assistant photographer Leah Muse is AMAZING! Her work is fresh and beautiful and she is young and spunky and passionate. She did headshots for me, even though that is not her thing, and they turned out wonderfully. I’ve seen her wedding work and I must say, she is top on my list when I get married!

Unrelated but interesting: I’ve been reading Leah Muse’s blog (vacant.cc) since she was 15 years old. How weird is that??

It’s always great to hear about vendors in Austin. I’ll be sure to look her up and refer brides her way. Thank you for your comments.

  • [...] y’all remember Whitney Lee Photography, right? Whitney’s advertised on Offbeat Bride before, and she’s back … only this time I want to introduce you to her second in command, Leah [...]
